Portrait Process and Pricing
Process:
Portraits are drawn or painted from photos taken, preferably, by the artist. If a photo session with the artist is not possible, photos may be taken by the client but photos must be very clear with excellent detail. A few quick sketches of the subject may be done for the artist's reference.
A Charcoal Portrait will take 3-4 weeks and a Pastel Portrait will take 6-8 weeks from the time your order is confirmed. An Oil Portrait will take 4 to 6 months if it is a seated pose, and 8 to twelve months if it is a standing pose.
Pricing:
A deposit of one half the cost is required before the artist begins. The balance is paid upon delivery.
